I - being an intelligent woman who has oft fallen prey to stupid guys in the past - find that the allure is fairly ego-centric, although unknowingly. What stupid guys possess is an innate ability to pinpoint a woman’s weaknesses/self-doubts and feast upon them through manipulation. It may be purposeful or subconsciously - subtle or overt, depending upon the level of stupidity involved.
It then becomes a vicious cycle where they build you up and then take you down a notch, to ensure you don't become self-confident enough to realize their stupidity and leave them.
I am so thankful that there a genuinely good-hearted men out there like you Aaron! So so so thankful.
